Reason:
Hendrik is Swadian born and bred, but always had a fascination with the Nord culture and language. Whilst on the front lines Hendrik fell in love with a Nord woman and had a bastard child with her. This combination of history has given him ample opportunity to learn how to speak the language during his life. Only speak as Nord runes/language is very difficult to comprehend, especially for a Swadian white-boy.
