relinquishing his seat dying. Former mercenary captain given land after swearing an oath under Harlaus. Essentially the IC equivalent of getting your first, shitty fiefdom in Native.
Description of the Character: Average height, weathered complexion, and long, brown, windswept hair with the telltale notes of age displaying flashes of white amongst the auburn locks. Dour, brooding and getting up in his years. Ready to settle down from his gallivanting days of mercenary work and sire a new generation of kin, be they by blood or through the men and women he oversees on his new land.
Character's Goals: OOCly, to present a prominent voice of reason and restraint in a faction as rowdy and proactive as
Vayajeg Tehlrog. ICly, to prove not only to his new liege(s) that his vassalage is worthwhile, as well as settle into a rooted life, as opposed to the turbulent travel that comes with leading a band of mercenaries across the land.
In your opinion, what can you add to the faction in terms of general well-being (Ideas for Events/Type of Noble that you wish to play/Can you bring members to the faction with your noble? There needs to be more nobles on map that can keep it in their pants and not start shit they can't finish every two weeks until their characters die in the middle of a field. Perhaps a bit blunt and harsh, but it's true. Fighting is popular, but if you do nothing but fight the appeal wears thin quickly, ostracizes the populace who cannot/choose not to fight and garners bad blood between all factions on map which, of course, inevitably leads to more pointless conflict. I would prefer to present more courtly intrigue, with a Swadian presence that, while it exists to help the other Swadians, will also present a more domestic kind of conflict with little, little, little emphasis on combat. No coups. No rebellions. No wars, unless necessary.
Reason for Application: Personal interest and a character concept that I would like to see played out.
